Your Non-Toxic Baby Registry
Building a baby registry is an overwhelming, exciting, and stressful part of preparing for a baby. What do you need? (And what won't you use?) Which materials are the safest/cleanest? I've compiled a sample registry of the best baby products that I have used myself or conducted research on. Hopefully this helps to guide you in creating a less toxic registry yourself or be able to add items you may have forgotten about! You can check out our Amazon Storefront for more non-toxic items or our Instagram to see some of these in action!
Feel free to comment for more suggestions/ideas or to see if a brand you were looking at is truly clean!
Overall Guidelines
Obviously, this is not a complete list of non-toxic items or brands - furthermore, it is not within everyone's budget to buy completely "clean" products and the most expensive brands. You can pick and choose what is most important or attainable for you, or do some research and find your own preferred items! Some helpful hints when you're looking for baby products are:
- Focus on trusted materials (glass, organic cotton, natural woods, natural rubber, etc)
- Avoid flame retardants, plastics, and unnecessary chemicals
- Minimize electronics/wifi
- Find and shop trusted brands
- The goal is better, not perfect
